Dijana Pavlović, as an actress and activist for Roma rights, shares with us how the Roma are (dis)connected by her personal experience and how we can create a more diverse as well as multi-cultural world in the future. Dijana Pavlovic is an actress and activist for Roma rights.
She obtained a degree in Dramatic Arts in Belgrade in 1998 and has been living and working in Milan since 1999.
She is the president and co-founder of several associations related to the Roma culture and society such as ERIAC and the Kethane Movement and she is spokesperson of "Consulta Rom e Sinti di Milano". Who are the Ursari of Romania and Moldova?
This ethnic group of Roma is known as Ursari, Richinara or Mechkari.
All three names are related to their professional occupation - training and performing with bears. “Urs” is Latin for bear, “rich” comes from Sanskrit “rkša”, and Bulgarian “мечка”.
The Ursari of Romania and Moldova are representatives of the Balkan group of Romani dialects, which distinguishes their language from other groups of Roma in these territories, who speak mainly Vlach Romani dialects.
It is believed that during the Ottoman Empire, Ursari were part of the Ottoman army. They made and repaired weapons, worked with copper metal products. And their second occupation was training and performing with bears to entertain the public.
They are also known to perform with monkeys, That's how they got another name Maymunari. Maimuna is a Serbo-Croatian word.

Навіть важко собі уявити життя без абетки. Це основа основ. Недарма існує вираз “починати з самих азів”, який коренями сягає ще часів старослов'янської абетки, де першою буквою алфавіту була саме “аз”. Початок справи асоціювали з першою літерою, яка є основою мови.
Важливість абетки навряд чи комусь потрібно доводити, це як аксіома. Проте щодо існування та розвитку ромської абетки дискусії не вщухають.
Одне з доволі спірних питань виникає з самого вибору системи письма, тобто набору символів з яких складати ромську абетку. Кирилиця чи латиниця? А може деванагарі?

ve Murathanoğlu aşiretinden 450 hane Anadolu'ya göç etmiştir.
19 y sonuna kadar hakkari civarında bulunan Şeyhbızınnlar, daha sonra çeşitli bölegelere dağılmışlardır

üç adet "ferman" bulunmakta.(1170/1756)tarihli(1194/1780)tarihli(1231/1815) üç tarihte degişik zamanlarda
